Biography
Stephanie Sipes holds a BS in Civil Engineering and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her teacher certification as a graduate student as Missouri Baptist University. Before transitioning to home education, Stephanie taught middle school math and science at Providence Classical Christian School in St. Louis, where she developed a deeper appreciation for classical education. Over the years, she has taught, tutored, or homeschooled every level of math from kindergarten through college.
Known for her clear instruction, Stephanie enjoys guiding students from feeling stuck to becoming confident problem-solvers. She loves the feeling of conquering a tough challenge and enjoys sharing that with her students. When students realize they can persevere through difficult math problems, they develop the courage to tackle challenging concepts in all areas of life!
Stephanie lives in South Central Pennsylvania with her husband and their four homeschooled children. When she isn't teaching, she loves rebuilding her own education through good books, learning new handcrafts as a capable sewist, swimming, and embarking on new camping adventures with her family.
