Mrs. Thea Finley

Thea Finley is a Nebraskan, born and raised. She attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and earned her BS in Middle level education with emphasis in Math, Science and English Language Learners. Her career as an educator has included teaching 7th grade Science and Math in a public school, teaching 7th and 8th grade Science at a Classical Christian Collaborative school, and homeschooling her own four boys. Outside of the classroom, she continues to grow as an educator—learning more about classical education through books, podcasts, and conferences.  
Her background in middle-level math and science equips her to walk alongside students as they learn diligently and joyfully. One of her greatest joys as a teacher is seeing each student for who they are—uniquely gifted by God, striving to help them glorify Him through their work and growth. 
She lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband, Spencer, where they raise their four boys.  When she’s not cooking a meal to feed her four growing teen boys, you’ll find her gardening, cross-stitching, or cheering her boys on at any of their sporting events.
