Anna-Maria Tsikhlakis

Anna-Maria Tsikhlakis went to high school in Athens (Hellinikon), Greece. In 2007 she completed her certificate in Modern Greek language studies from the Kapodistrian University in Athens and in 2009 graduated from the American College of Greece with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. During her college studies, she worked for her family's milling, consulting, and design business. Before teaching in the public sector, Anna-Maria conducted research about the needs of Greek schools in North America which led to curriculum improvements.
Her passion for education ignited when she began assisting her daughter with early learning concepts, and she continues to thrive as an instructor. In addition, Anna-Maria is dedicated to assisting others in job coaching and guides them towards the necessary skills, job training, or employer connections needed to achieve their goals. Anna-Maria implements her teaching philosophy around Socrates' quote, " I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think." Her spare time is spent with her husband, daughter, three dogs, two cats, and their bearded dragon.
