Biography
Originally from the French part of Switzerland, Francesca German holds a Bachelor’s (2022) and Master's degree (2023) in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, and a diploma in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical University St. Thomas Aquinas (2026).
After graduating from Oxford, Francesca worked as a special needs teacher for two years, an experience which introduced her to the many joys of teaching and indeed made her fall in love with it. Committed to the study of the humanities as a whole, she particularly enjoys helping students discover the rich links between different subjects, whether literature, philosophy, art, or history.
Francesca is about to begin a Master’s in Theology at the University of Oxford, with the hope of continuing onto a PhD. Her own intellectual pursuits are ever-expanding, but she is especially interested in questions of spirituality, liturgy, and the theology of the sacred. In her spare time, she is also a keen choral singer with a love for Renaissance and Baroque polyphony.
