Biography
Hannah Barry started tutoring Latin in 8th grade and has never stopped. Homeschooled up through high school, she received her undergraduate in Classical Moral Philosophy from New College Franklin and recently graduated with her MA at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, focusing on Greek and Hebrew languages. She has spent over ten years teaching and tutoring homeschool and private school students in literature, languages, and writing. She’s passionate about helping students of all ages learn to love working through the “puzzle” of inflected languages, better understand English words through their etymology, and see all writing as a form of poetry. When not teaching or working on her own studies, you can find her reading children’s literature, drinking chai, writing for various creative projects and publications, and trying out new Italian restaurants with her husband.
