Biography
Bella Welch holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Hillsdale College. Over the past four years, she has worked primarily with preschool and early elementary students in a variety of educational settings, including classical, Montessori, and Waldorf schools, as well as special education programs.
Bella is passionate about the beauty and depth of the English language and is dedicated to sharing that enthusiasm with others—whether through exploring great literature, strengthening writing skills, or analyzing sentence structure to better understand an author’s intent. As a former homeschool student and Scholé Academy alumna, Bella strongly believes in the ability to create rich, engaging learning environments beyond a traditional brick-and-mortar classroom.
Outside of teaching, Bella enjoys trail running, playing the cello, engaging in spirited games of Risk with friends or family, and, of course, getting lost in a good book.
