Biography
Margarita Whiddon has a lifelong passion for bridging cultural and language gaps. As a former registered nurse in Mexico, she discovered her true calling for language education while translating for cross-border medical missions. Upon moving to Texas, she continued her advocacy as a translator for the Workers Defense Project, ensuring local workers had a clear voice and access to vital resources. Now a dedicated homeschool mother of over 15 years who has served as a tutor and co-op instructor, Mrs. Whiddon has taught and prepared students across all grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school) in subjects ranging from Spanish and Latin to biology. With a B.S. in in Nursing and currently working toward a B.A. in Pedagogy, Margarita wholeheartedly believes in the Christian classical education model. Mrs. Whiddon lives in Texas with her family. When she isn't teaching or studying, she loves a good book, the great outdoors, and spending quality time with her children.
