Biography
Abigail Mallin holds a BA in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. Her master’s thesis was a novel in prose-poetry which explored the boundaries between poetry and fiction and the role of language in shaping identity. After completing her BA she pursued doctoral studies in poetry and taught literature and writing in the US, Turkey, and France. During that time, she had her own children, and her interest in education shifted to the younger ages. As a second generation homeschooler, Abigail has educated her children in France, the UK, and now the US. She has also taught second and third grades at a private school. Her current interests lie in the intersection of the Liturgical Calendar and the seasons of the natural world and how to bring this to life for children in a wholistic education.
