Biography

Jasmine McCormick resides in southwest Florida with her husband and five children. She holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing and a master’s degree in health care ethics. She has spent the last 9 years teaching 9th-12th grade science at a Catholic, Classical Academy where she served as Science Chair. During that time, she taught biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and physiology, and philosophy of science. She led the schools transition to Novare Science and is excited to have the opportunity to continue to work with students using this amazing resource. She recently transitioned to fulltime nursing at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and labor/postpartum nursing at the local birth center.

Jasmine is passionate about sharing her love of creation with her students. She possesses a deep sense of responsibility for the stewardship of the earth and respect for human dignity. She believes that every science course should naturally invite the students to marvel at God’s creation, encounter Christ, and contemplate their place in creation.
