Biography
Donald Lance has been an educator for nearly twenty years, serving students as a classroom teacher, interventionist, and tutor. He is a certified Dyslexia Specialist and has devoted much of his career to supporting learners with diverse needs, especially students with dyslexia and related learning differences. Mr. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. He also holds Colorado teaching certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and General Science. His diverse academic interests include language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, and he enjoys helping students grow in confidence across disciplines and cultivating a love for learning. He currently resides in Colorado with his wife, Caroline, and their two children, Elizabeth and Timothy. They enjoy spending time together, being outdoors and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado.
