Are you Interested in Offering Tutoring Services?
View Employment OpportunitiesFrequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I speak with a tutor before committing to tutoring?
A: Yes! When you submit the tutoring request form, we’ll connect you with a tutor to set up an initial consultation. This meeting is free of charge and allows you to get to know the tutor and discuss tutoring specifics before making a purchase.
Q: What if I need more sessions in a quarter than originally anticipated?
A: You are welcome to purchase additional sessions for the present quarter anytime during the course of the quarter.
Q: What is your policy for rescheduled or missed sessions?
A: The tutor and enrolled family will work to schedule sessions quarterly, at the start of the quarter. Once a quarterly schedule is set, a family may request adjusted dates within that quarter, but must give the instructor 48 hours notice (though extreme circumstances would constitute an exception). Tutors will make every effort to accommodate the request of the family. Students are responsible to be prepared for their sessions. Scheduled sessions will count against the purchased sessions regardless of student preparedness.
Q: Do you offer refunds for purchased tutoring hours or CSLD services?
A: Please contact the Tutoring Center Manager with questions regarding a refund. Refunds are considered on a case by case basis. Please refer to the Proposal and Policies documents provided to you by your tutor at the commencement of services.
